Sub zero, but no evidence of frost...which is unusual I think?

Overcast, slight breeze and -0.7C; the 52nd air frost of the winter. A few grains of snow floating about a short while ago.

Drove through a snow shower this morning near Orton in Cumbria, spent a lovely few hours on the Pennines behind Dufton in deep snow cover and surprisingly no cloud cover, scattered showers on return back late this afternoon.

A cold day with a stiff NE breeze at times.

Patchy frost likely tonight too much cloud cover about for anything particularly moderate.
