Just noticed the lightening feed to netweather seems to be down. Just says probing all the time.

I also noticed this at the weekend and was not sure if it was a problem at my end or Netweather as it was probing all the time, also the 5 minute lightning page is stuck on the 9th of Feb.

Howdo, we think this is some sort of power supply problem and aim to get fixed early next week

It appears that the lightning detector feed has stopped working my Syncom is just probing and the Netweather lightning display stopped last night!

All seems fine at this end currently, are you still not able to connect?

Gone back off again

Yep, just sorting something out on there - some weird connectivity thing occurring.

Should be sorted now, can see detectors connecting and sending strike data properly again.

The detector appears to be picking up strikes and my syncom shows it is on line however when i look at the netweather map it is showing all the lightning detectors as red to show they are off line including mine which i know to be live. Is this the case for others who are on line feeding data to Netweather?

Hello,

I cannot - indeed haven't been able to see any stations that report lightning, or the lightning itself on the new Radar.

Does the show lightning feature actually work, and if so, how are the strikes shown?

Hello,

Is there any chance of the Lightning Strikes showing on the V5 radar soon?
