22 hours of rain in Farnham which only abated at about 3.00am! Temp then dropped to 0.5C so some ice around but could have been a lot worse! The ice risk is going to be around for a few days though given the amount of standing water.

Cloudy and misty in Norwich, current temp 2C.

There was snow between about 0:30 and 1:30am, which gave about a centimetre on the ground at the time, but thereafter it must have warmed up with light sleet/rain because there's only a few smatterings about on the ground now.

An absolute dolly dangler of a morning here, -4.5 at 6AM under clear skies. Bright blue sky and sunshine now, very thick frost on every surface and a bit of fog in the valleys. Mother nature's handy work at its very best. Pity I have to be in work.

The most pleasant day we've had for some time, after 4 days in a row of cloud with rain or showers and several cold grey days with wintry flurries before that. Dry with some decent sunny spells, temperatures close to average but feeling mild in the sun with a light SE wind.

Grey, drizzly and cold - bleugghh... 4c max and min 0.9c overnight.

At least it was just about light enough to see my keys when I got in from work instead of the usual fumble in the dark!

Now at stage where street lights are just coming on as I'm heading home. Another two weeks and I'm finally clear!

    • Wet March so far with more rain for the rest of the month, but hints of more settled weather early April

Despite a colder drier respite on Monday, staying generally unsettled to see out the rest of the month. But hints of some drier weather in early April. Read the full update here
