still snowing here,Monday looking like another snow potential

Lucky you Dogs. What's the depth?

We had wet snow, heavy at times this morn and after lunch, but hasn't snowed for about 7 hours now. Nothing lying since late afternoon. Yet 15 minutes up the M5 from me it was still snowing an hour ago!cray.gif

What's our chances for eary next week then?

nearly 1ft now :(

:( only kidding...

not as much as other place;s around the Glos area but we are currently around an inch with snow still falling...

Two miles to my South its even better so I have been told.

While parts Glos is doing better...

Cant grumble as the very heavy snow this afternoon didnt settle.

Monday is worth keeping a eye on.

Well thats it for west country think winters over we should just get out the rain coats ready for spring and summers rainy season while the SE gets another BBQ summer. lazy.gif

Okay it isnt over but snow risk wise I think unless you live in glouc (midlanders in disguise whistling.gif ) laying snow is going to be hard to see even on the mendips this half of winter it would seem cc_confused.gif .

you glouc chaps are ok really just needed a moan. whistling.gif

Ah, so it was true then! I'd heard a 'rumour' that was so. Typical, 15 minutes by car. Unbelievable! This was a real localised snow event. In other parts of Midlands it's been like that tonite.

As for next few days Sunday night/monday looks interesting, but looks a midlands/north event. I suppose it's typical of a late end to winter; north of here is favoured. Reckon we'll stay on the 'less cold' side nowcray.gif

dont go taking warehouse loads, the council might need it if metchecks forecasts are anything to go by lol! cashy, we had lots of rain..... and flood warnings! its not often we do well out of a marginal event, usually the wrong side, if we werent then we would be feet under!!!!!

I use rain today, where do you find the Met Office radar on their website?

Go to tab "weather", click on "UK" then go over right hand side of page and click on "Latest observations", then click on "rainfall radar".

Regards
