I expect those max temperature predictions for sunday will be early on in the day with temps falling through out the day.

The afternoon looks like it will get colder as the Low drags in a north easterly wind turning some of the rain to snow on the northwest flank of that Low although there isnt much chance of it laying around.

A chilly 2.1c here at the moment. cold.gif

Shame they don't start off low enough for snow! :)

Unless the snow is really heavy in the afternoon, it'll never stick...

I have seen snow stick after heavy rain, but it needs to come down thick and fast!

where have I heard that before.... whistling.gif

Your right though it would take some impressive fall of snow to settle after that rain although possible on higher ground. dry.gif

I have not heard from matt of late i wonder if all this rain has dampened his spirits, maybe we should send out the lifeguard to get him. rofl.gif

I think they should change this thread in april (once snow risk is gone) to SOUTH WEST ENGLAND HEATWAVE DISCUSSION. I shall be around still from time to time.

or maybe it should be end of may because it is still possible although unlikely.

Evening to all who are left. It's like the Mary Celest on here. cc_confused.gif I would have thought with the 'storm' occurring on Sunday this thread would be alive, but alas no. Seems only the snow brings everyone out. Perhaps Matt has gone surfing.excl.gif Anyway been very gusty here this afternoon, great listening to it howl over the roof. Looking forward to Sunday with a little intrepidation thoughdoh.gif

Yep totally agree could have done with another 10 mins and I bet Wales could have got them, they seemed to have moved up a gear in the last half. Well 2 good matches on tomorrow. Scotland to win, then England. Well that might happen, who knowsdrinks.gif

It will be nice for England to pull it off, if not as long as it's not France or Italy.

wallbash.gif

Not had a chance to follow it much this year wacko.gif been to busy.

Started raining here about 15 mins ago and it's letting us have it cats and dogs.

Would be really NICE if England could but it seems to me that they just have not go it anymore they just seem to scrape through, none of the big scores like they used to have when the Phil De Glanville was captain, back in the day!aggressive.gif We will see tomorrow

You'll love Sunday then!... Looks like a pretty wet (and windy) day!

There was talk of maybe snow in the South West next Thursday, but that's a long way off!

Severe warning out with the Met Office for Sunday, I see on the NW forecast charts that there might be a risk of snow next Thursday.

It will interesting to see what comes of it.drunk.gif

Yep, I hope Thursday comes off! Will be interesting to see if we get anything other than rain on Sunday here too!

Right, I'm off for tonight... I think my WiFi is playing silly beggars (stopped and started it twice now and still playing up!)... It's starting to really annoy me now, so before the laptop meets a nasty end, I'm gonna give up and go to bed!

Catch ya later!
