Clear skies overnight gave the 10th air frost of the month with a min of -1.8C. It then turned cloudy early on and has remained that way all day. Cold again though with a max temp of 3.9C.

Currently overcast with a temperature of 2.9C. The dewpoint is -0.5C so theres still cold air aloft.

A dull day in Norwich although it is starting to clear to the north-west. There was snow all morning, but it only gave a dusting on the ground- temperatures became more marginal as the snow got heavier. Some Christmas card type scenes around mid-morning. After 12pm it turned to sleet and the snow on the ground thawed quite quickly, leading into a cloudy damp afternoon with the odd bit of drizzle.

Temperatures dipped to around -2C last night, and got up to 2 or 3C today, the fast thaw being more due to high dewpoints than high air temperatures.

A much colder day today than yesterday. Snow falling from roughly 6am to 1pm, but lightly throughout, about 2 and a half inches fell in the end, and has thawed very quickly like TWS said due to quite high Dewpoints. When the snow was falling, temps never got above 0.4C

Temperature: 1.6C

Got down to -4.2c the coldest night since January 10th,some freezing mist and thin hill fog earlier with yet more rime on the trees, thats thawed off a mostly cloudy day but with some some breaking through the clouds which are going in opposite directions low coming from the east and mid-level coming from the SW very slowly.

The odd few snow flurry or grains similar time,a max of 2.9c with a much slower thaw to yesterday.

Upto moderate E/NE wind 0.6c mostly cloudy and freezing.

The 10th day in a row with either just sleet(2 days) or snow falling(:) :)

Impressive high pressure just about covering the entire polar basin with an associated easterly component to the wind encircling the northern part of the globe.

Overcast with heavy rain early morning with some sleet and graupel mixed in with it, and in Basingstoke we had snow flurries at times up to lunchtime, when it stopped snowing but remained overcast for the rest of the day. The snow didn't settle.

A cold and windy day - currently overcast and dry, 2.2 deg C, wind moderate NE. Today's maximum 2.8, last night's minimum 1.8. Drove through several large pools of water on the way back from work, and it looks as though it's going to get worse before it gets better.
