Thick fog for most of the day. The fog did thin a little during mid-afternoon but returned by 1730. A few light rain showers this afternoon but currently dry. A slow thaw all day, remarkably slow in fact considering the temperature reached 5.4c, it must be down to a lack of breeze keeping a shallow layer of chilled air just above the snow surface.

Hi TM,

A big difference here from your conditions, it just goes to show what a bit of altitude makes and a snow cover to the overall conditions.

All snow long gone, the temperature almost got in to double figures today. Topped out at 9.0c on the AWS, the warmest day since 9th of December.
