Another air frost last night, down to -3 degrees, so once again woke up to a white sheen. Its been a gloriously sunny day with not a cloud in the sky, which is quite rare, however, mild it has not been, maxes of just 6 degrees in abundant sunshine shows just how cold the upper air is at the moment.

A wonderful sunset this evening with temps dropping like a stone, we are below freezing right now, probably won't be as cold as last night due to high level cloud filtering down from the north through the night.

This March is starting off like January with abundant sunshine but colder than average, yes not quite as significantly colder than in Jan but appreciably colder than average.
