Frosty, how can -3.5c be a disappointing minimum? Much of the UK didn't get below -2c. -3.5c under cloud cover is pretty impressive.

0.9c with some fog banks here.

Lol, well not quite that many air frosts here, but still going to be well up on recent years, 36 air frosts here so far, including this morning, will soon overtake 2005, (37) 2006, (36) 2007, (36) and it’s only March. With 5 months of possible frosts to go, I think the record of 69 in 2003 could well be beaten.

edit: correction, the local record number of air frosts is 78 in 1996. Records go back to 1991.Still beatable.

Still sunny here, not sure where the clouding over is coming from!

Pretty cool in the shady areas which haven't had much sun due to buildings blocking pathways etc.

A stunning sunny day with some cloud around. It now feels genuinely pleasant in the sunshine and we can finally get the windows open again in the office for the first time since October.

Everyone seems much more positive and happy too - finally spring is upon us (and yes I know it can still be cold and it no doubt will be tonight - but that's part of spring!).

Min of -1.4c this morning now risen sharply to 9.0c. You know spring is here when temps change 10c+ day to night!
