not very cold out this morning about -6c... you would know as there is more frost so it must be closer to dp.

No frost here either, but that's more to do with the temp being 2.3C than anything to do with the dew point.

Still got a good bit of snow outside. It is mostly gone from our garden now due to the kids disturbing it and the sun reflecting off the building but there is still more or less a full cover on open ground. My parents' garden (1/4 mile away) is still completely covered by snow to a depth of two or three inches. 14th day in a row of snow cover.

Well, this area is sat in a gap in the Sc sheet as can be seen on the sat picc-so we have yet another air frost-much less marked than the last two mornings, its currently -0.6C making it the 8th consecutive air frost, this must be some kind of record in the recent past for March. Not a cloud to be seen and a light 'drift' from the north on the anemometer.

Might even get a game of golf in!

Might even get a game of golf in!

That's one bad thing about all this cold weather. Kilmacolm golf course has been under snow for a total of 40 days since December and frozen solid for long periods of time too. At least they are kind enough to send the groundsmen out to snowplough the streets :yahoo:

Mixture of cloud and sunshine so better than I thought it'd be. We've finally hit 10c! 10.1c max a little earlier - first double figures in months!

Yesterday's forecast was for a cloudy, frost free start and sunny spells in the afternoon. We have had exactly the opposite as the sky was mostly clear first thing with a frost and the sunshine lasted until late morning, since when the cloud has moved in and made for a dull afternoon! The maximum was 7.2c and it's 6.8c now with 58% humidity.
