-6C at Glasgow Airport, another pretty severe frost outside. Ground very white where there is no snow cover. Pretty borderline for 50% snow cover now; although there are still huge patches of snow around.

it is no looking like remperstures may rise slightly as we go through march which is not such a surprise I guess although I still think e could get a few surprises until the end of April as temperatures are not set to rise that high yet. I am not convinced a temperature rise will be so welcomed by most. I love the weather at the moment, cold and frosty at night and sunny by day and everywhere slowly drying out. Great out in the garden at the moment.

Shame the "drying out" is bringing it's own problems now in Wales with loads of grass fires! - we had one here yesterday close to our home

The remarkable run of non double figure days has now extended into 3 complete months!

Today has continued the below average, cold theme with a max of just 6.0c under mostly cloudy skies with some sunny spells first thing and again this afternoon. There has also been a very brisk, gusty ENE wind so a significant windchill.

Currently cloudy, bright, breezy and 5.2c with 64% humidity.

Clear intervals with a slight frost last night.

Sunny spells and pleasant today. Moderate NE breeze.

Clear and frosty yet again this evening (a remarkable March for frosts so far).

Drove up to 350 masl near Aberystwyth this afternoon, where there was still roadside ice, and with ice on shaded rock faces, also snow patches on higher ground not far away. Meanwhile it felt positively mild in town!
