Yesterday:

Large amounts of cloud overnight prevented the temperature from falling lower than 3.7c. At observation, after a few bright spells earlier, now cloudy with a shower threatening, feeling much milder than of late. Light showers followed shortly after the observation and a few continued through to the afternoon. The were a few brighter spells, but were short lived, top temperature 8.4c, maximum wind gust, 18mph NW.

Yet another sunny dry morning after another air frost - got down below -2 degrees early this morning and currently 6 degrees, so a very good chance of seeing our first double digit day, we have come very very nearly close to 10 degrees over the last 4 days.

Hopefully the cloud won't creep in during the day.

Looking at rainfall statistics this has been a very very dry start to March we have only recorded 0.1 inches of rain so far and we are nearly half way through the month, though it does look like we are going to see a bit more rain in the next few days.

Warmest day of the year so far here! and mostly sunny. Temp max of 11.7°C about 10 minutes ago but the wind then suddenly switched from the NNW to the SSE and the temp has dropped to 10.6°C now. Slight increase in humisity too.. looks like a sea breeze!
