A sunny start with only patchy cloud and breezy.

Current temp is 8c.

8.2C and cloudy here with a strong Westerly breeze. Just a spit of rain earlier but still no measurable rain in March.

Local paper reporting forest fires in N.E. Fife and the road North to Blairgowrie was closed yesterday due to grass / heath fires. Shows how dry it has been.

A bright, breezy and frost free start. At observation, turned cloudy, though dry. The day continued rather cloudy at times, but there were also some sunny spells, especially from mid afternoon. Much milder than recently, top temperature 11.2c, though this was offset by the westerly wind gusting to 32mph.

Long clear periods overnight but the f5-6 NW/W wind prevented any frost. The min' was 3.5c with a grass min' of 1.8c and by 0900 the temp' was 4.8c; currently it's 5.4c.

Cloud increased after dawn but much of it is high and there are spells of hazy sunshine. Feeling rather chilly in the west wind averaging 24 mph and gusting to 41 mph.

Some high level cloud starting to build up now and again but still lots of sun. Currently 11.2c and rising, but the breeze is a lot stronger, you still need a jacket or something on, the breeze is taking the edge of the temperatures sadly.

A sunny and warm feeling morning - for first time in months neither gloves nor hat nor inner jacket needed for the ride to work!

Clouded up this afternoon and now there is a chilly north westerly wind blowing so back on the gloves for the ride home.
