Yes feels positively balmy today(14C) after all the cold since mid Dec, i find it weird people heralding spring when temps were really cold but now with a much warmer feel you hardly hear from them, this is spring in feel(gloomier skies though) not the cold early March weather.

I think of spring is sunshine and showers with the trees and flowers coming into bloom, not cloudyish and dry days like today with no blossom or flowering anywhere to be seen.

The only reminders i got that it is spring is the feel of the air and the length of the days!

I notice for my area in the last 2 days that the clouds amounts have been under-estimated, sunshine has been fairly limited. Tomorrow should be sunnier apparently but i would not be surprised if its cloudier than forecast.

The mildest day since 20th November here with a maximum temperature of 13.9C. Apart from some sunshine this morning it was rather dull though unfortunately and accompanied by a strong wind.

The temperature is certainly holding up though, it could well be a very mild night. Currently 9.2C.
