A dry morning with sunny periods after the clearance of early morning ground frost and fog. Cloud increased quickly from the south after midday and there were a few spots of rain and a little drizzle early this afternoon, this was followed by a spell of dry and cloudy weather before continuous light-moderate rain arrived around 1600.

Thick hill fog developed after 1700 and by sunset it looked like late November.
