Started good bright and sunny clouded over with rain, temps in the sun got up to 17.8c drinks.gif hoping for some thundery showers soon yahoo.gif

Cloudy morning with mist/fog around, did brighten up this afternoon however with some hazy sunshine and it certainly felt quite mild. I assume this was because the dewpoint was quite high and pretty close to the temp.

I managed to escape the Thundery Showers :lol:, the main concentration of PPN is over central southern England and is slowly fizzling out, so anyone in NE England is highly unlikely to see anything but light rain, there is still a chance across the Midlands though. Todays maxima reached 15.5C

Not a bad day predominantly dry albeit it cloudy though mild. However, this evening has seen heavy rain which looks like sticking around for most of the night and into tomorrow morning - could easily see an inch by morning, its seems a long time ago since the rain has spattered against the window as it is now.
