Cold front is directly over us meaning lots of cloud and quite cool temps, currently 9 degrees. Most of the rain is expected to fall to the north east of us, but wouldn't be surprised to see a shower or two this afternoon, also don't expect we will reach anything higher than 10 degrees, once the cold front moves through temps this evening will probably drop to around 7 degrees.

It's not often you see overnight minima of below freezing and daytime maxima of around 20c.

Currently 19.5c, clear blue skies and calm. Absolutely beautiful.

That is quite a big contrast in temperatures then. This April, with the high pressure, seems to have been very good month so far at delivering these huge temperature differences from night time to day. smile.gif

Another cloudless sunny day, 20C has been recorded at a station nearbye, Croydon.

Really it feels more like late May outside, and there is plenty more of this to come this week. :)

More high cloud around now, currently measuring 17.3c which might be around the max today, might go up a little more. Not the warmest April day for me, recorded 18.2c on the 9th April.

currently around 18c dry and sunny, however around 4pm had a dust devil or something as the wind really whipped

up for around 5-10 minutes blowing washing off the line and blowing all sorts of dust and twigs up in in the air,

then just dropped completely still again very eerie!

Would be interested if anyone else saw this around the bristol/bath area or whether it was very localised?

Paul.

Apart from just a few very small Cumulus today has been the second consecutive clear and sunny day and the maximum reached a lovely 19.8c after the minimum of 1.8c.

So a highly impressive diurnal range of 18c!

Sunny now and 18.9c.

A beautiful spring day - with a large diurnal range here too. Wall-to-wall sunshine up to mid afternoon, one or two scattered cumulus clouds now. Current conditions: scattered cloud, 18.2, wind light variable. Today's maximum 20.1, last night's minimum 2.0.
