The cell now has evolved into a mesocyclone and topping at 43,000ft so possible night-time Tornado, in the flashes of the lightning i could definately see lowering... Possible hook-echo forming???

can imagine its pretty scarey during the daytime to be near a tornado. but at night time! shok.gifshok.gif

:) loads of strikes/minute now

Those poor folk in Greensburg witnessed that very thing... suppose it wouldn't have mattered what time of day it was as i'm sure day would have turned to night when that 1.7 mile wide monster came calling..!!

The cell is dropping 3¾" hail, watch out cars, dents are a certainty..!!:) Dont think Tom will be doing an out-side broadcast for this hailstorm..!!

I agree with you totally MAF good.gif

, too many friggin street lights in any town just spoils the enjoyment of nature, especially when big mamma N is giving the chance to see a sparkling light show with sound effects :) lol

They're just S of the cell's core and are travelling Nward on highway 15 smile.gif

now i know that the safest place to be in a lightning storm is in a vehicle, but be careful you guys. :)

the radar showing a really heavy burst dead ahead

Agreed :)

Right now they're travelling E bound on Higway 4, and look to be punching through the southern portion of the cell and I suspect they're getting a fair amount of rain :)

You're doing a great job guys, stay safe good.gif
