It looks like the cell you guys are at it's beginning to weaken somewhat, but I could be wrong cc_confused.gif

Tornado warned the storm the team are following, with unconfirmed reports of a tornado on the ground, though conflicting reports on this.

Large tornado on the ground east of Norman area (south of OK City)!!!

I wish I was back on the main highways with the lads, but sadly I'm back in Cork doing a bit of tech support along with Paul M. Was Just talking to Paul S there on the phone a few minutes ago and he was saying the damage they are coming across is mental.

Well done team! 2 nadoes and still daylight. Awesome!

Ahh, no worries pal

from what I breifly saw on Mike Phelps' live stream of that monster wedge that was beginning to form, coupled with the Nexrad radar images of the hook, it wouldn't surprise me if there was a nasty large wedge tornado that has been responsible for some of that damage, but unfortunately without confirmation of whether this would be the case, this view is nothing more than a guess at this point.

Hopefully there'll be some more confirmation of the damage locations and toughdown locations as the day (Night for us all in the UK & Ireland) rolls on.

2 tornadoes reported to E and SE of OK City, one's caused major damage near I-40 east of OK City. I-40 shut down, cars flipped over ...

Nice hook on the storm area:

Yep Nick, just a shame that it was in the radar clutter briefly as the tornado started up but now the cell is moving out of the way, heard there is a lot of damage with it as well.

Quite a few decent hooks on the radar, this sure is an explosive eveing over there!

About a dozen pylons have been felled in a twisted mess around I40 around Lake Draper and major damage.

TN confirmed crossing North of Seminole, Hook evident on Doppler. Wetumka/Dustin next in line for a possible strong TN.

Thats one of the better radar presentations I've seen Nick in recent times, thats got to be a violent tornado on the ground, from what I've heard of the damage reports, its certainly was in the EF4 range and probably still is after the cell briefly developed a few other tornadoes about 20 mins ago...

Can't keep track of all the tornadoes! Reporting tornado damage near Reno in suburbs of OK City - storms firing on dryline just west of OK City, also rain-wrapped tornado near Ardmore further south down I-35, major damage at Seminole airport east of OK City, power out at Purcell south at OK City - maybe tornado.

Manic these High Risk days!

... and Slaughterville, what a name for a town in the path of a supercell!!!

Noop. Will try calling them to make sure they are ok if they dont come back online soon

Gotta admit, slightly concerned for them due to the current events!

With the experience and heads of Tom and Paul they would get them out of a 'bad' situation.

Ardmore tn was rain wrapped. You can't even see the damn thing to get out of the way!

Yep Nick, thats got a good tightening Hook Echo now, I'm really worried by this cell because its heading into the area where the Seminole Tronado blew up...would think there is a real risk of another big tornado with that cell given its tigthening radar apperence.

Certainly turning into a mega day thats for sure!

Hi Guys

We are fine - Had an amazing Chase Day.

Bagged a Great Wizard of Oz Tornado West of Medford then saaw the Wedge that barrelled across I-35. Incredible Damage behind that Tornado, saw another into Kansas. Now just sitting West of the Line NW Of Tulsa. Going to call it off soon and grab a room

Ian
