Hazy/dusty/polluted Skies

I've seen a disproportionate number of "hazy" skies with large amounts of dispersion of sunlight over the last month- and I'm sure that the ash cloud has been a significant contributory factor.

on return into London on Monday this week, the sunset was quite superb, yellow, orange, red, so presumably dust partly responsible.

Might be a little dust drawn up from the Sahara region that has made it's way over the Atlantic. I noticed some notable dust on a car nearby, however Saharan dust in a southerly regime is no rare thing.
