4c at 5.30.am this morning when I went out to finish sowing turnips before the expected showers later this morning. Some of the hills to the north had a fresh cap of snow above 3000 feet. Currently 10c with a bright blue sky and superb visibility courtesy of arctic air. Shower clouds building to the north, a superb late spring day. Ground very dry on the surface so turnips could do with a soak to germinate them but other crops fine as lots of sub surface moisture from the snows of last winter.

Not far off a perfect early summer day in Wiltshire with long spells of sunshine which is hazy at times due to Cirrus and Altocumulus. There's also some Castellanus showing a disturbed atmosphere. A gentle NE breeze and pleasantly warm at 19.5c and 46% humidity .
