With just a few days to go to the end of May it's time for a thread for June.

The 1971/00 June CET is 14.1C

I think I might go for 14.8*C, with chances of the high extending back over the United Kingdom at times, and possibly interluded with a continuation of Northern blocking creating a shield to the South-West. smile.gif

I'll go for 16.5 - it's been an interesting year so far and if that Joe laminate floori is to be believed we are in for a warmish dryish summer, though he believes next winter could be even colder than last.

If it gets too cold I will get on a plane to my place in Languedoc (ash clouds permitting)- they have much nicer snow down there and I will have the benefit of a nice wood burning stove with the air to air pump providing background warmth - wow, heaven after making do with the convector heaters in the other house last March with only single glazing!

Massive difference in the predictions from my two forecasting methods, one going well above and one going well below, out of hope more than anything else, i will trust the one going well above..

15.6C, 1.5C above average is my prediction, warmest since 2006.

12.9C would of been my median value, so will bear that in mind at the end of June.
