Just had a heavy rain shower here, brightening up again now.

The TV flickered a couple of times, so that could have been lightning interfering with the signal.

Just as I was logging on half an hour ago an almighty downpour of rain and hail stopped me in my tracks.

As it has cleared away a loud rumble of thunder to my south at 1550 while here the sun is out again.

Thus far apart from that one downpour it's been a sunny day :!:

Manchester reported lightning this afternoon, but I havnt seen anything, been at a press conference all afternoon.

Ipswich: Thunder and lightning, very heavy rain and quite strong winds (thats a storm i think)bout an hour ago- i got drenched

then 20 minutes later it stopped- now its just rain

:shock: Severe hail storm at 6.15pm tonight, just as I was going to the gym.

Roads were just a river of water & windscreen wipers no good

All dry & calm now
