Kelvin Helmholtz Type Formation

As a Skywarn-UK registered storm spotter for Kent, I've verified and received positive feedback on the probability of the pictures containing the pretty rare Kelvin Helmholtz characteristics for the formation of the clouds themselves.

I also emailed the Met-Office and although they cannot say 100% it is Kelvin Helmholtz Instability they also do not deny the characteristics are definitely there.

So I published the article on my site and included the pictures used when contacting Skywarn-UK & the Met Office to share with everyone! Enjoy :)

Paul S will verify this phenomenon - we saw it in the States when travelling through Arkansas en route to Oklahoma - Paul suddenly went nuts with excitement and we all saw it from the car! Sadly no photos - but was a definite case of it.

Any chance you could post a pic?
