I decided to start this thread on my return to this thread after a fairly long absence from the weather part of it as I'm going to Baltimore on a school trip on Friday and felt there should be an area on the forum to discuss holiday weather. Anyway, here goes - Baltimore on the 18th June at 7pm when I land -ttp://expert.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/2010/06/15/basis12/namk/pslv/10061900_1512.gif

A ridge of high pressure extending north across the southeastern American continent will bring fine, settled weather with temperatures peaking during the day at around 33C. According to the GFS, this hot, humid, sunny weather is likely to continue into FI, though some thunderstorms likely at times. http://expert.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/2010/06/15/basis12/namk/prty/10062212_1512.gif

I don't know how i'll cope with this kind of heat though! http://expert.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/2010/06/15/basis12/namk/tmax/10062118_1512.gif

We then move onto New York next Friday before returning on the Monday.

Wow! you're school is awsome my secondary school never took me anywhere the furthest i ever went from it on a trip was to vicarage road football stadium which is basically 5 minutes drve from my secondary school! wallbash.gif

I went to florida last august and the temperature was 38c+ in the shade, most american buildings doo have airconditioning its only when you go outside its painful nearlly, I walked from one side of a mall carpark to the entrance no further then a 1/4 mile and it felt like I was going acroos the sahara! but as long as its not constantly up in the mid 30s/ high 90s you will be fine and plus you get used to it after a while.

Have you ever been anywhere remotley as hot as that?

I'm going to Orlando next week in Florida, it almost never gets above 100f/38c there, but it is consistently in the low to mid 30s with high humidity. But I'm hoping we get some storms while we are there!
