14C after some heavy bursts of rain earlier. We narrowly missed the worst of the heavy rain, passed to the east this time which is quite unusual.

Absolutely dreadful evening here. Wind at a steady force 5, gusting higher.

Pressure dropped 4.5mb in the last 3 hours

Sea swell at around 8 to 10 feet.

Coastguard on a 999 call seen on the way home from Plymouth City Centre, as well as the lifeboat out by Plymouth Breakwater.

A real Summer storm and my first here in "The Bay".

And to think between 10am and 1pm it was clear blue sky a gusty force 3 to 4.

Another rather chilly day for July with maximum of just 16 degrees quite poor considering we are entering what is traditionally the warmest period of the year.

Dissapointingly cloudy but apart from one or two showers early on it stayed dry until very recently. Now moderate rain has just set in and expecting this to pep up in the next hour with some more useful rain for the rivers and reservoirs. We have already seen nearly 4 and half inches of rain this month, not bad going and it is only mid-point.

An ok day here, fairly cloudy day to start with showers but those eased away by the afteroon to leave a fairly sunny day.

One thing I will say though is it was rather windy at times thats for sure!
