A day of sunny spells and occasional rain showers. A tad on the low side with a max temp of 18.8C which coupled with the strong wind meant it felt quite cool at times.

Currently mostly clear with a temperature of 16.0C and 60% humidity. 1.2mm of rain today taking us to 11.8mm for the month.

A very similiar day to yesterday though not quite as wet and it dried up more quickly after another wet morning. We saw more sunny breaks this afternoon but not enough to lift temps any higher than 16 degrees which for mid July is rather poor indeed.

Tomorrow looks a washout over the Lake District - quite likely to see 24 hours of continuous rain so another inch looks very probable and the elusive 21 degrees figure we have not yet seen this month doesn't look likely in the next few days at least.
