A dull day with very low cloud all day and even some fog this morning, meaning I couldn't see anything interesting in the sky if there was anything higher up. Now clearing with a few bits of blue sky visible recently.

An interesting line last night and early this morning on radar just 5-10 miles or so west of here moving over the same area for hours, apparently from a upper cold front. Much of the heavy rain missed here just to the west with some outbreaks clipping here although a heavier outbreak starting just after 6pm.

Also The lowest max since early June.
