About to be hit by a shower, can't hear thunder, but probably very heavy rain with it.

It appears to be South Yorkshire bound, although I can't be sure whether its going to hook east of Doncaster and head up the Trent Valley, like a few storms have done in the past.

Nope not moving this way at all. Just spinning round on itself. Bet the rainfall totals are very high there right now.

Looks like stuff along the M4 corridor has "exploded" in the past 30 mins or so, heading NEwards... Of interest :girl_devil:

...Coupled with the fact it's only 14:30, this afternoon/evening could be pretty interesting...

Looks like a pretty strong CZ Zone setting up there.

Expect it will be alligned from Salisbury to East Anglia this evening

Hmmmm, it seems the PPN is dying away on the radar, not massively but it's definitely noticable over the past 20 minutes :girl_devil:

Had some heavy rain with big drops, but not torrential, and it only lasted 5 minutes or so.

Didn't hit that hard, and the next band seems to moving too far south.

Currently in Amesbury. Can hear thunder. Very dark towards Boscombe Down and Tidworth direction. Light rain here

A definite convergence zone now running though from East Somerset and SW Wiltshire towards Hampshire.

The sky to the South of me in BA 12 is evil, although the current radar gap is visible as a 'brighter' slot

amidst very black CB sky!

It's actually a good 40 odd miles South of the M4.

As Andy and I have pointed out in the last half an hour, a very definate East to West Convergence Zone setting up across C Southern England, I would be getting very excited if I lived within 30 miles either side of the M4 - This drifting very very slowly Northwards in the next few hours. Thinking this is being caused by Sea Breeze Convergence over Dorset and South Hants, on the coast I bet it is a glorious summers day Pmsl - Sorry Quentin

Incredible cloud formations around here and it seems almost certain something will spark up...but there again, this is Hereford....

I think we must be near the centre of the low?

I'd say its a little bit further north of you, but not that far.
