Thanks Pat, I seem to get lucky with the weather at Fairford, been going on the Saturday every year since 2000 and always had sun, except for 2008 obviously. I have more but need to sort through them. I took 2300 shots throughout the day, but many of them are not usable.Cheers Paul

Not sure how many are unusable, but i'll still keep em. Sometimes if a image is no good it may still look good if you convert it to black n white. Got quite a few shots of the Lancaster and also the messerschmitts in formation with the spits, its just finding the time to sort through them all. Yeoviltons good if you view the show from outside the airfield. If you go on base your shooting into the sun all day, making it hard to get a good exposure

Hi There, not strictly true - check the Canadian Warplane Heritage site, they have also been flying a Lanc for many years now.

And some planes should never fly again, or at least until they have an airworthyness certificate despite what the pilot thinks and his apparently over enthusiastic co-pilot!

Nice pics by the way Rich :cc_confused:

Lens used was Sigma 50-500mm

Thanks . Really good quality photos.I showed them to my neighbour who has the 150-500 but we didn't know what you had. He hasn't had it long so these will give him cheer.
