A 3hr timelapse speeded up to make it a 2.53 min video, the quality is not fantastic as i need to upgrade my pc and yes that dam telephone post is a pain.

I used windows movie maker with six double speeds added,Microsoft cinema HD web cam but need to upgrade my cpu to get the best from the cam.

Turn the sound off if you don't like music to a timelapse.

That's mesmerising Del, thank you for sharing it on here.

Fascinating to see how early on in the video small clouds formed above the middle tree and then later how the stormy looking cloud

began in the same place - is there a hill or lake/water that we cannot see?

Hi Andy

Well, from what i can make out, is that it forms from the dock but there is the river Humber that may play a part ?........ but i agree, it is fascinating how it all develops.

Excellent video, I love timelapses and that is a great one.

Hope you post more.

Also just thinking, could the clouds be forming further away than they look? Is there some cliffs along the coastline in the direction?

A lovely timelapse, shame the weather hasnt played ball around here with regards to good convection so far this summer.

That cloud is almost definitely forming over the Humber and microclimatic in nature, the wind looks like its near enough due west on that video, so I wouldnt be suprised if some moisture was being picked up from the Estuary - especially so considering it came after a period of the sun being out (however brief).
