    The eighth tropical cyclone of the season has formed a few hundred miles south of the southern tip of Baja California. The depression's current intensity is 30kts. The LLC is located on the northeastern edge of a ball of deep convection, which is indicative of moderate northeasterly shear, which appears to be increasing. This should cap any major intensity gains, though 08E could briefly become a tropical storm before cooler waters add to the shear to result in dissipation.

    08E has succumbed to strong shear and cooler waters already. Intensity has been reduced to 25kts, and the depression should degenerate into a remnant low later today.
