    Temperatures have reached an all time high (according to the Weather Channel) in Los Angeles readings have measured 45°C /113°F breaking the previous record of 44.4°C /112°F set in June 1990. Records began way back in 1877. The time in L.A is currently 1:20pm, so it could even get higher.!

    Wow!!

    I'd be very worried about powercuts from everyone running their A/C. Something happened during a stuffy period in the Bay Area in 1996 when I was over there.
