Followed a line of showers driving back to Wales this afternoon. There was one just starting in Coventry when I left before 2pm, I then ran back into the same shower on the M40 between Warwick and Henley in Arden, Further wet roads encountered along the M42 south of Brum and again on the M5 near Worcester. I then stopped at the Strensham services near Tewkesbury at 3pm at the same time as a rather heavy shower (probably the same one from Coventry for the third time in just over an hour!

Rest of journey largely dry and cloudy though Wales.

It had been a dry day with sunny intervals here, and clear periods this evening.

As I start to do my Winter blog for this year, I will try to do this every day as well. A mostly dry today with some sunny intervals later morning and early afternoon. One or two spots of rain around 4pm, but dry since then,It was quite breezy this morning with gusts of over 40mph, but this has died off this afternoon. Currently dry with around 4 octas of cloud cover. Quite a cool day with temps reaching 9c, with a slight chance of a ground frost tomorrow morning.
