Just started here so only a dusting so far. Finally leaving the no snow club behind. :drinks: .

Looks like we could have a bit more overnight with a Thames streamer of such though its difficult to say how long it will last. Anything similar to Feb 09 would be nice but doubting that very much. Saying that Phil Avery on the BBC sounded almost worried ealier on the 10:27 forcast on N24.

Looking good for those of you up north still and wish I was there.

1-2cm here in Leicester, most roads are clear but some pavements have currently got slushy ice on which will freeze later today and it will be treacherous to walk on.

We've had some flurries this morning but nothing major.

Well 24 hours later at 18cmlevel in Dartford. Certainly beats the Feb 09 level. Interestingly enough the streamer keeps coming. http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ Quite broad in it's approach. I thought it would die out a long time ago but still quite heavy at times. Might see an inch or two more overnight and the forecasts seem to keep it coming through Wednesday with possibly heavier snow approaching the south east on Thursday.

Don't think this depth will be beaten in a long time here.

Approximately four inches in Hornchurch near the London/ Essex border as of 23:00. It has been been heavy since 4:00 pm. Substantial falls in the South East are now threatened for tomorrow evening, and local daytime maxima of -2 to -3. I never thought I'd see these conditions again.

just got in from a far from easy drive from Doncaster-quick ruler measurement shows a total of 18cm, or 13 cm since 1730 this evening.

I'll do a more careful check in the morning.

Just got in from trying to go to work but I literally got stuck in the snow on the paths. It's coming past my knee's almost to my thighs in some places so easily 3-4 FOOT deep in North Lincoln.
