Clear and cold with a temp of 0c.Despite a rather big thaw, the snow depth is still a foot deep on the grass :lol:

Currently sunny and dry with 1 okta Cb over the Lincolnshire coast and patches of St fractus and Alcu. Freezing fog at times earlier but this is now restricted to small patches in the valleys.

The overnight snow did not amount to anything and died out compltely by 2230.

The temp' is -0.7c after a min' of -1.7c

Very icy with thick freezing fog and moderate frost. Low –4.2c with –7.7c 0n the grass (snow) Mean snow cover 5.5cm. At observation, fog cleared, now sunny.

Yesterday:

Overcast with fog (vis < 450yds) after further snowfall overnight. Since midnight the temperature has managed to climb a little above freezing here with a slight thaw setting in. At observation, temperature on the way down again with ice forming. Fog, vis 450 yds. Sky visible overhead. Mean depth of lying snow, 10.5cm. Cloud quickly moved in through the morning with light rain and drizzle which lasted well in to the evening with a slow but steady thaw. The late evening saw clear conditions and the freeze returned. Maximum 2.6c.
