beautiful clear blue sky all day but dear me how cold, another ice day with a maximum of -1.3C its down to -6.3C, heaven knows how low tonight after -9.4C last night, could be into -ve double figures I would expect.

What a truly astounding cold spell this is, and its still only 6 December after 11 days of snow cover already!

I notice the airport is reporting -11C-I assume its correct.
