Clear for a time last night with just a ground frost, cloudy conditions later lifted the temperature to well above freezing, 4.9c, the max for the 24 hour period ending at 09:00 GMT. At observation, cloudy, rapid thaw of lying snow, only 1.5cm left, 55% cover.

Warmest day since about 18th November here at 6C, now 5C with overcast skies

A mostly cloudy day with sunny spells. It wasnt actually as mild as expected with a max of 5.2C. It also turned mostly clear for a time around sunrise allowing a min of 2.1C.

Today was the 16th day of consecutive snow cover. Its thawing fast though with a mean depth of 8-10cm. There has been 11.2mm of melted snow in the gauge since midnight alone.

Currently partly cloudy with a temperature of 3.9C and 93% humidity. If the clear spells persist we should be good for a ground frost tonight.

[Thundery wintry showers]

A significantly warmer feel to the day in Norwich, despite only getting one degree higher than a couple of days ago (6C max at Norwich Airport and still 6C there now). It's been dry and cloudy, with a fair amount of altostratus about and some stratocumulus underneath at times.

Very little snow/ice left, just the odd patch here and there, but then again there wasn't much of it around to thaw away!
