I would do. The storm seems to have gone to sleep though. Getting quite windy and gone very dark.

Very heavy rain and Hail at 1545 till 1630. Made the drive home very tricky. Looking at the recent Av Brief radar it looked as if i suffered the worst of it. 8)8)8)

Had a T-storm around 3.15 and another shower at 4.20.There have been wonderful Anvils today and just as I type it looks like another shower(prehaps T-storm?)could be heading my way. :D

Had a storm around 3.40 with a few load cracks of thunder, the first flash gave a power cut for around 20 seconds. The storm was accompanied by an intense hail burst for around 2 minutes. The storm was followed by great 'mamma' cloud formations at the back edge of the Cm. Been quiet since with a few lightish showers (no thunder heard) with some long sunny spells.

I have scanned the radar closely and I am sure that the storm that affected London mid afternoon started it's thundery life here at about 1245. There was just one rumble here but intense rain and hail.

Throughout the afternoon we had a succession of rain and hail deluges lasting 15 mins max with beautiful sunshine in between, but no more thunder.

Fairly benign looking now so hopefully a good chance of seeing the eclipse later.
