Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if you have been in the model thread at all, but the negative reputation button is actually causing a lot of problems, flame wars and stupidity.

People are -1'ing posts because they don't show what they want them to.

For example, Ian Brown posted a TRUE post about the weather turning milder. Because milder is not what cold fans want to see, he instantly gained over 5 negative feedback. This doesn't only make the user look bad, but it can't be nice seeing your post having negative feedback.

I am sure many people on this forum would agree with me, it's causing arguments and flame wars. :(

Yep, in fairness BT, it has been more than a day since your last thread in here, you must have been getting withdrawal symptoms!

I felt lonely without my fellow admin man replying to my posts. :D

Just needed to say hi!

I think the + and - feature is very useful, now if only everyone used it properly! Some people are so small minded.

hi - I seem to keep getting sent back to the previous page of a thread after posting - this started a few days ago, I think some others have noted this.

Thanks yep, there's a bug in the software which shows up when posts are soft deleted in topics - it'll hopefully be sorted soon and in the meantime we'll try to keep on top of the deleted posts within threads to stop it happening.

You could always not delete posts therefore it wouldn't occur. :p :p :p
