We just can't seem to shift the cloud here. Consequently temperatures are pegged back at 14.2c.

Heavy shower in Lancaster, but I suspect the main storm was to the east of me (that's where the darkest clouds were, for instance, and in any case, it's normally the south and east of Lancashire that gets more thunderstorms). Anyway there was no thunder.

Now clearing up from the north.

Warm and very humid here now, that thunderstorm has moved away southwards over Manchester now.

Though there is more convective activity starting up again now.

I think that Cnb must be heading towards me in Maesteg, Wolverine_89!

Currently rather dark - big spots of rain, but falling rather sparsely. Ground very wet from earlier heavy showers.

Muggy at 16.1 deg C

Sunny with blue skies again now.

It is also very humid with some more convective activity going on, so maybe some of us will be seeing some more thunderstorms through the night.

seems were just one of only a few that hasnt seen activity today. Im not surprised though given our position. Its been quite a miserable day here actually overcast til 2pm and then hazy sunshine and around 18C. Still a rather boring day in the scheme of things

Same as the South Shields area, apparently, where it was dull until about 2pm, sunny until about 5pm, then the sea fog rolled in.

In Lancaster, a completely different weather type is advancing from the north, and I'll be outside, probably, until it starts pelting it down (or I risk being hit by lightning) With sun for most of the day, high humidity and one sharp shower at lunchtime, we maxed at about 18 or 19C.
