Wow! I was on the Fiesch- Eggishorn funicular late October this year when the snow level was around 1800m. It's an incredibly beautiful area and I truly do envy anyone lucky enough to live in that area. The Aletsch Glacier is something that everyone should see, just mindblowing, a place I'd never tire of going to.
