FLASH WEATHER ALERT

Category: Level 2 Warning

Weather type: Thunderstorms/Torrential Rain/Hail

Affecting: Scotland, Wales, Northern England, Midlands, Southwest and Central Southern England

Dates Valid For: 17:00 - 23:59 Monday 10th May 2004

Discussion: Heavy showers, including hail and thunder have been developing throughout today, these will continue to become more intense during the coming hours. This may lead to slow moving torrential downpours, storms (possibly severe) and with that the threat of flooding and lightning damage.

Travelling conditions will become very dangerous.
