Dry and sunny in Norwich following the clearance of early high cloud (mainly cirrus & altostratus) before 11am. The first sunny day here since 28 January. It feels quite springlike as well, with a current temperature of 9C and humidity of 62% at Norwich Airport.

Becoming very windy here atm, trees are howling now. NW England has a warning for heavy rain (meto) it does mention 65mph gusts possible however on my town forecast they have gusts to 73mph for me around 6pm. I think excess of 70mph gusts around a busy time of night warrants a warning...

NetW have issued one for northern england including scotland where they may see 90mph+ exceptional gales.
