Surprisingly it only got up to 18C here in Lancaster, yet it certainly felt a lot warmer than that in the constant sunshine.

Currently 15.2c and sunny.

Our warmest day was Friday with 21.0c, and yesterdays temperature was pegged back to 20.4c by a lot of lunchtime and afternoon cloud cover. I think today may be sunnier, and if so I reckon 22c+ may be on the cards. I've got a good feeling about today!

And I'm off out later on so it better be nice!

Well, we were up to 17.1c by 9.35, but clouds have already started bubbling up, blocking the sun and we are now at 16.8c. I'm gutted. Why can't we have a day of constant sunshine? BBC promised me a sunnier day than yesterday, they LIED. Bring back John Kettley.

hello from sunny donny

yep its really living up to its nickname, not a cloud in the sky, no wind, temp is 17.1C. I'm off hiking in the Peak District, so I shall need the pint when I get to the pub! Yesterday it got to 23.5C, making it the second warmest day this year.

John, did you buy a Vantage Pro then? Or are you still considering whether to get an automatic weather station?

Well the sun has been back out for a while, but theres a LOT of cloud floating about, just waiting to block the sun and make me have another tantrum. Currently 18.7c and rising.

Has been cloudy now for the past hour or so, its just like yesterday. Temperature now fairly stable at 18.8c

Unless the sun gets out quickly, I can't see it getting much above 20c. Although 3 days of 20c+ in mid May is good, I had high hopes of at least 1 day around 22/23c.

20C, with a few clouds around. No wind at all. Was quite a shock when I woke up about 10 minutes ago and came outside.
