I have a nagging feeling that it's going to hang around these parts tomorrow, as the sattelite images show a large band of it over Yorkshire & Lincolnshire creeping slowly south towards Norfolk.

The thick fog lifted by 0930 and the drizzle died out by abouot 1000 to leave the rest of the day dry, cold and cloudy. The cloud began to show signs of breaking by 1615 and there was a sudden clearance of low cloud after 1700 leading to a ground frost before sunset.
