Avast keeps telling me that it's blocked Malware on Net Weather on every page. Seems like a dodgey add to me.

Not seeing any issues here, and the address in that warning is the basic dfp adserver code, which is certainly not malware. I'd suggest you clear your browser cache/cookies etc and then scan for viruses on your pc to see if that either finds anything / solves the problem.

I clear my cookies, cache and packet data every day.

I'll run a scan now, but if it's also happening to another user, it can't be a virus really. :S

The other likelihood is that it's a false positive being thrown up by Avast - have a look through google it's a pretty regular occurance and will very likely be cleared the next time they update their virus scanning files.

Yeah, I've had a false positive a few times, but never this consistent. Could just be something on the page that it doesn't like.

I'll have a go at sorting it now and update you, thanks for your support. :)

Looking on the avast forum, it seems lots of people are seeing it alert on ads today, so clearly something up with it.

    Ah right!

Obviously something to be ignored until they sort it in the next update like you say.

Cheers again for your support, greatly appreciated.

Out of curiosity - Connor, are you using Avast?

    Hello All

I was just wondering if anyone else has IE9 as i keep getting this message saying add-on failed when i go onto the forum and was wondering if anyone else was getting this.

I know its not a major problem just wanted to know in case its IE9 itself?

    Thanks for your time.

I haven't seen that myself. What ie9 addons are you using? To see them, you need to go to the menu in ie9 (top right - looks like a cog), and select manage addons.
