Cloud cleared away last night and the temperature dropped enough to allow a wide spread slight frost to develop. Thick freezing fog with visibility less than 100 yds also engulfed the area. At observation, bright with weak sunshine, shallow fog thinning. The fog cleared shortly after observation and the day saw long sunny spells, feeling very pleasant, top temperature 13.8c.
