Interesting little Surface Low feature I've been following all day, which is still going strong passing through close to Newcastle even now. In a 1003mb environment this feature has lived up pretty well considering the environment around it. Possibly Low 'eddy' origionating from Spain perhaps? But it first began to be noticeable at 0700am on the 22nd just coming off the NorthEast coast of France. Moving through the channel into SW England and then up into Cardiff where it gave some precip but no sferic activity. Holding itself together still the feature forced convective inhibition across a vast swathe of the Midlands where it then took a slightly more Northerly track, following the Fylde coast on its flank before again transitioning NE over the Northern Pennines to North of Newcastle where it now is.

I've managed to save some clips from the Met Office IR Satellite images, in 3hr duration of its track & progression throughout the day. I hope someone with a bit more knowledge on these things can add some info to wether its a true Surface Low or a more 'eddy'-like Feature.
