NOT HAPPY!

What looks to be the heaviest rain and best thunderstorm for months at home.

And I am 150 miles away in Scarborough. :(

Think we've had our lot for the time being , loads of black stuff to the East of me seems to be tracking NE sort of Telford , Stoke way ish...if that makes sense.

Breaks in the cloud appearing now and seems to be quiet - dogs have stopped jumping round the kitchen and strangely my Koi have stopped racing around the pond!.

I've just found the most surreal image from one of the Jamcams near Stoke-on-Trent of a herd of cows crossing a bridge during a thunderstorm!

Thanks Paul. Tender seedlings brought inside again! Looks mighty black your way and coming closer up into these hills.

Black to the Southwest here. Got caught out by a backbuilding cell to the East earlier (assumed it had cleared the valley by the time I was setting off into the village to get supplies) only to get drenched.) Day of RADAR watching now on to make sure I don't get caught out again lol.

Its anaprop C_S..... You'll regularly see that little 'cell' appear on the NW radar north of Manchester...It's a ghost!

I often wonder if that anaprop over Manchester is the 'Manchester Tower' reflecting signature back to the station, then again there's high buildings in London and other places in the UK that could do the same thing yet don't.

Looks like my chance will come closer to the evening as storms in central Ireland push towards the E coast and die out. Always seems to be bad cape and LI in the NE of N.Ireland.
